World’s Most Advanced Sarovar Built at Sri Kartarpur Sahib

Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib will beautify the world’s largest Khanda Sahib. The construction of Khanda Sahib has been completed by constructing a 100 feet high platform just behind the gurudwara.

Shahid Shabbir broke the news on Facebook:

The construction site of Khanda has been constructed in such a way that after visiting the Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib, when the devotees will visit the holy circuit, they will also see the Khanda Sahib. The area around it is decorated with marble.

Darshans of this Khanda Sahib, built at a distance of a road built behind the main building of Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib, will also be allowed to go to the place of visit. Along with this, 150-foot-high Nishan Sahib has also been beautified near the main building of Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib. Large and new marble platforms have been constructed for Nishan Sahib.

Also, a huge sarovar has been constructed at some distance from the main building of the gurudwara. The Government of Pakistan has named it Smart Lake. This lake will have the capacity to hold one lakh 25 thousand gallons of holy water. Three filter systems of purity of the holy water of the lake will work. Devotees who come for darshan will be able to take a dip in this holy lake as well as take the water to their homes.

The Government of Pakistan has made two separate parts for bathing of women and men with this lake. The holy water of the lake will be free of bacteria and fungi. 11 stairs have also been constructed from the base of the lake to the upper surface. Green Italian marble is placed all around the lake. Historian Shahid Shabbir has released a photo of the completed construction works around Kartarpur Sahib.
