A woman who was traveling on the train with her husband and 10month old child was forced to jump from a moving train. The woman along with her family had to jump from the train to protect her honour.

The incident took place in West Bengal, when the woman along with her family had boarded the train at Ghaziabad where they work in at a brick kiln.

The woman alleged that 10-12 passengers, all youngsters who were inebriated had begin to harass her from the beginning of her journey and got more and more aggressive as other passengers alighted from the train.

The couple said that the Railway Protection Force (RPF) had also disembarked at Alipurduar. When the couple attempted to complain to one of the guards, the men on the train threatened to tie the man and gangrape the woman in front of him. This forced them to jump to save their lives resulting in multiple injuries.
