Media reports have stated that the leading Sikh activist of the assembly of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province Sardar Soran Singh was shot dead by unidentified attacks in northwest Pakistan Friday.
Reportedly, the attack took place outside his home in the Pir Baba Buner District. The responsibility for the attack hasn’t taken place. The region of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province is home to a decent Sikh population. The Sikhs living in that area are native to the region and became Sikh after visits by Sikh Gurus and after Sikh Generals conquered the area in the 1800s.
