Kamal Sharma responded to Sukhbir Badal’s comments against the BJP in Haryana.
Its notable that On Sunday, deputy Chief Minister of Punjab Sukhbir Singh Badals hits out at the Khattar government saying it seemed there had been “no government in Haryana for the past 11 years”.
While the attack was primarily aimed at the decade-long Congress rule in Haryana, Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal’s reference to “11 years” sought to target the one-year tenure of the BJP government led by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.
The BJP has been in power in the state for the past one year. While the two parties are allies in Punjab and at the Centre, some SAD candidates had contested elections against BJP nominees in the last Haryana elections.
Sukhbir, addressing INLD’s “Jan-nayak Samman Divas” rally at Rohtak, said the state had slipped on development over the past 11 years and was under heaviest debt among all states.
Even at Jalandhat too, Local MLA Manoranjan Kalia called a “Sadbhavna” meeting in a Gurudwara and absence of all Akali leaders barring Cabinet Minister Ajit Singh Kohar gave enough reasons for people to raise their eyebrows.
