Some Vaisakhis were not as joyous and colourful as ours will be. This is an emotional and powerful journey of 13 Sikhs who left home to celebrate Vaisakhi, how they returned will leave you speechless. They are disappearing from history, it is our duty to keep their spirit. Their lives ended on Vaisakhi 1978, it us up to us to keep them alive.
Not all Vaisakhis’ have been colourful and joyous. Here is an epic soul stirring but brutal chapter that is fading from the pages of history, so too are the heroes who shone at the altar of sacrifice. Know them, cherish them, keep them alive so future generations realise what recent sacrifices have cemented our survival, honour and glory.
