A meeting of all Panthic Sikhs and groups took place at Gurdwara Sahib Smethwick, UK over the weekend.
The Sikh sangat passed a few resolutions in the meeting:
1) Any Raagi or parcharak who wishes to come to England for kirtan or parchar purposes must stand up against sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib Ji and Sikh tenets.
The Gurdwara Committees and Sikh Groups will question all of them whom don’t support panthic matters and open protests would be held against them.
2. If any major Sikh group in Punjab including the SGPC doesn’t support Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa’s hunger strike than protests will be held against all of those groups in the UK.
3) If Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa becomes shaheed than Punjab police, Sukhbir Badal and Parkash Badal, Ludhiana DSP and other police officials would be held responsible for any action against Sikh youth.
4. On July 15 at 11am a large protest will be held outside British Parliament in a peaceful manner.
The Singhs reiterated that if those people can travel all the way to England than they can travel few Kilometres to visit Bapu Surat Singh and if they don’t they should expect protests from Sikhs in the UK.
