Gurdwara Lozels Dashmesh Gurdwara Sahib’s committee member Parvinder Singh swears profanity and threatened Singhs who peacefully protested against against an outer faith Anand Karaj.
The committee member’s use of foul language against Sikhs who uphold Sikh Rehat Maryada is absolutely unacceptable.
Earlier Story on the incident:
Singhs from around the UK gathered outside Lozel’s Sri Dasmesh Gurdwara Sahib to protest peacefully against an outer faith Anand Karaj ceremony. Upon seeing the Singhs protesting, the Gurdwara committee called in heavy security and police officers from Manchester.
The Anand Karaj was stopped from occurring after the Sikh Code of Conduct was explained to both parties.
However, the police observed the peaceful protest of the Singhs and did not take any action. According to sources, The Chief inspector Sarjent oversaw the operation and he or West Midlands police can be called to confirm.
This Outer faith Anand Karaj is the second one to be stopped in the last week. The Sikh Anand Karaj ceremony according to the Sikh Rehat Maryada (Sikh Code of Conduct) is only for those who accept Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji as their Guru and accept the teachings.
