(DSU News Bureau) When David Cameron visited Gurdwara Sahib in Gravesend, committee members tried to stop the Akhand Paath but one member Seva Singh Lalli prevented the Paath from being stopped.
The confrontation lasted only a few minutes and things were quickly resolved by the PM making a speech at another hall.
PM Cameron and his wife Samantha were taken to a room until the dispute was resolved.
The UK PM is eager to court the Sikh vote as polls suggest Sikhs come out in large numbers to vote in elections. The Sikh vote is numbered to over 420,000 in the UK.
Previously, David Cameron attended a Gurdwara Sahib in Leamington in February 2015 and Sri Harmandir Sahib in Amritsar in 2013.
