Truth on Fake Viral Photo at Sri Harmandir Sahib

(DSU News Bureau) 2 truck drivers visited Sri Harmandir Sahib and posed for a picture.

The cameraman used a common camera technique to blur a person outside of the focus points. The owner of the picture posted it on social networks claiming a spirit was captured. However, this is false as it’s a common camera effect.

The picture went viral on social networks causing a stir among those unfamiliar with the camera technique.

A Professional photographer named Ajit Singh reveals:

“Left is the picture received
Right is the picture taken just now.
This effect is called Motion blur by Slowing down Shutter Speed ~ anyone moving would appear to be blur, while anyone stagnant would appear clear.”
