Based on a real life story, the film is directed by a national award winning director Shivaji Lotan Patil , co directed by Harry Sachdeva (also the writer –producer of the film) and stars Soha Ali Khan and Vir Das.

The film is set on the backdrop of 31st October 1984, the day Indira Gandhi was assassinated, which changed the destiny of Sikh community for years to come. Considering that the film’s subject caters to a worldwide audience, especially UK, USA, Canada, Australia, UAE, we intend to release the film in these territories.
The film has been made targeting all age groups as it is a story of a family – husband, wife and three kids who are stuck in their house on a tragic night when Delhi witnessed bloodshed of many Sikhs.

It is a story of friendship, highlighting how Hindus and other community people came forward risking their lives to save Sikhs by sheltering them in their homes.

It is a story of the journey of survival of this family. The sole intention of making this film is to pass a message that such killings on the name of community bring no good to any individual, group or a country and also that brotherhood prevailed on that dark night as many Hindus played on their lives to save Sikhs.We salute our Hindu brothers and other community people who came ahead risking their lives.

Soha Ali Khan and Vir Das are playing characters of a real life family in the film, the family will be revealed close to the release during the promotions of the film. The film was shot in Punjab, Delhi and Mumbai and the complete era of 1984 was created which will be seen in each scene of the film.

Film is an out an out thriller, showcasing a family’s courage and survival that was caught in their worst nightmare with death and torture staring them in the face. It’s a story of how FRIENDSHIP and COURAGE stood the test of time. The film, while depicting the tragic facts of that particular day, also passes a very strong message that on one side where few persons were targeting the lives of this particular communal, on the other side, there were many who sheltered this community people as well, evidently showing that the riots were a political instigation which led to the loss of many human lives.

The film maintains thrill till the end, leaving a question whether the family survives or not. The music and songs of the film have been composed keeping in mind the international standards.

There is only background score and no lip sync songs in the film. But the songs compile for a perfect album as they are sung by few of the most renowned legends of the Indian Music Industry – Asha Bhosle Ji, Gurdas Mann Saheb, Ustad Gulam Mustafa Ali Khan , Harshdeep Kaur, Sonu Nigam and Javed Ali
