Termed ‘Public Safety Risk’ Sidhu Moosewala’s Performance Removed From Vancouver Festival

Prominent Punjabi artist Sidhu Moose Wala will never again be performing at Metro Vancouver’s 5X Festival this week since Surrey RCMP says he is an “public safety risk.”

Moose Wala — who is known for intertwining hip-jump and Punjabi beats — was booked to make that big appearance at the South Asian music, craftsmanship, film, and style occasion in Surrey.

“The Surrey RCMP have regarded Sidhu an “public safety risk” and asked that he be expelled from the celebration,” said Tarun Nayar, Executive Director at Vancouver International Bhangra Celebration (VIBC).

In spite of the fact that we can’t help contradicting their decision, open security is forever our main need, and we have consented to expel Sidhu from our lineup so as to concentrate on delivering another extraordinary 5X Festival.”

** Surrey councilor Mandeep Nagra affirmed with me that city ceased the license of 5X celebration until they evacuated the name of disputable Punjabi vocalist Sidhu Moose Wala from rundown. **
