For explanations to all questions raised in the last few days and in recent weeks, please listen to the recorded video statement from start to finish, and with an open mind. This video contains the straight facts and the truths.

16 November 2015 – One should never give praise because of influence from others, and in the same way one should never denounce because of what one has heard from hearsay. Due to the controversial “traitor” allegations and doubts that were disseminated into social media at various periods since the start of the campaign against Guru Sahib Ji’s sacrilege, Bhai Ranjit Singh Khalsa Dhadrianwale has released a recording with detailed information giving a full overview of the current affairs. He has never been aligned with any one faction in the Panth, nor has he made his own separate faction and neither will he do so. He has always shared the positive qualities that can be realised from each group. Categorically, his position always has and will be that the day anyone can prove he has backstabbed the nation and joined with traitors, on that day it will be his neck to the Sangat’s sword. Before one decides to point fingers and issue their own statements, they should always assess the entire situation and go to the bottom of any given matter. Our quick decisions to give labels have a detrimental effect within the community and on those who have tirelessly worked day and night for Gurmat Parchar with Panthic interests and a clean conscience.

There is a detailed summary about the events that have led up to the current day, from the first public statement made in the USA firmly rejecting the Jathedars’ pardon, to the first incident of Beadbi that triggered the state-wide sit-in protests, the arrests of Sikh Parcharaks, the Shaheedi of two Sikhs, the meeting prior to and at the Bargari Shaheedi Samagam, and the matters revolving around Sarbat Khalsa.

Bhai Ranjit Singh Khalsa has given a solution to all the problems towards the end of the recording. The control of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee by the Khalsa Panth. The day the SGPC is formed with input from the Khalsa Panth, on that day all decisions relating to the nation are under the control of the Khalsa Panth too. Educated and fully practising Gurbani-fluent Gursikh candidates must be vetted and very carefully selected to enter into the SGPC so that the Sangat controls the institution to make the nations own independent decisions. Committees need to be formed to locate such Gursikhs who will be capable of entering the SGPC and then the Sikhs must promote such people. We can carry on sitting on roads, suffer beatings, show black flags, give blood etc, indeed all of this is important too as it creates pressure, but the ultimate solution is Panthic control of the SGPC to take forward all other Panthic matters.

Bhai Ranjit Singh Khalsa said he has the most ultimate respect for the great warrior Bhai Jagtar Singh Ji Hawara and he is a hero of the nation. But Sikhs must maintain this respect whether he is in jail or whether he comes out. Bhai Ranjit Singh Khalsa said it hurts to learn of the preposterous sedition charges that have been put against Sikh leaders and those from overseas. He questioned the Government if these people who came from abroad with clean consciences for their Guru are being treated in such a way, how will anyone ever look towards Punjab?

Bhai Ranjit Singh Khalsa will have completed 17 years of Gurmat Parchar come January 2016, during which time he has continuously took part in; all Panthic affairs, challenged fake God-men, false practises as per Gurmat and the degrading of “Punjabi Virsa”, and created awareness to the best of his abilities. Sangat have always attended the Diwaans in huge numbers across the world and although some will have broken away after taking Amrit, there are still a large number who have genuinely joined the faith. The evidence of this can be seen by visiting the many villages of Punjab where one will find the influence of Guru Granth Sahib Ji’s Parchar, particularly over the last 2-3 years. Gurdwara Parmeshar Dwar Sahib hosts a monthly Samagam and many charitable events throughout the year to benefit the local communities. Possibly the largest celebration in Punjab for the birth anniversary of Sant Baba Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale is celebrated annually at Parmeshar Dwar.

The Sangat is already aware of the first arrests at Kotkapura from where the sit-in protests started, how on the second day Sangat peacefully reciting Jaap Sahib were cane-charged by the Police and water cannons were used to attack them. Gunshots by Police at another location killed two Sikhs. As the Bargari Shaheedi Samagam approached, to avoid double programmes and the formation of almost two groups, a meeting for unity between all Sikh leaders was arranged, attended by Sardar Simranjit Singh Mann, Bhai Mohkam Singh, Bhai Gurdeep Singh Bathinda, Baba Baljit Singh Daduwal, Baba Daler Singh Kheri Wale, Bhai Panthpreet Singh, Bhai Dhiaan Singh Mand, Bhai Amrik Singh Ajnala, Bhai Harjinder Singh Majhi, Jathedar Balwant Singh Nandgarh, Bhai Boota Singh amongst others. In that meeting the subject of Sarbat Khalsa also arose, although it had already been called before. A decision was made by all to not raise the Sarbat Khalsa call at Bargari and only the nine resolutions agreed at the meeting were read at the Shaheedi Samagam. Bhai Ranjit Singh Khalsa explains in detail his reasons for not attending the Sarbat Khalsa.

Soon after the Bargari Samagam various third-parties were approaching Bhai Ranjit Singh Khalsa, Bhai Panthpreet Singh and Baba Daler Singh to come to the forefront, to become Jathedars and take positions to lead the Panth. Bhai Ranjit Singh Khalsa said the first reason for not attending the Sarbat Khalsa was the issue of agreeing the ‘Vidhi Vidhaan’ system. He had said 100% a Sarbat Khalsa call should be given as that is the need of the time, but for the programme on 10 November to be a convention in preparation for a Sarbat Khalsa during April 2016. It was always maintained that a Sarbat Khalsa should definitely take place as it was a need of the time. Sangat are requested to watch the following clip.

If for example there are a hundred major Sikh organisations across the world, each one selects two representatives and therefore two hundred people gather to present the resolutions. From there, resolutions accepted by all are selected and then taken to the mass gathering to be read out. This way, all organisations should know in advance who will become the Jathedars, what will be agreed etc. It is common knowledge that many attended without knowing what was going to happen. Due to whispers and offers of becoming a Jathedar, Bhai Ranjit Singh Khalsa would firstly and inevitably be asked to sit on stage and it would most likely be announced he would be made a Jathedar. He said he was not suited to be in such a high position that would need to lead the nation, make universally acceptable decisions (and be universally accepted in the first instance), liaise with world leaders of other faiths etc. Further, the truth is that one would also have to make a commitment to stop the Parchar due to various reasons and to responsibly fulfil such a position. It was decided he would not go but would support any positive results. At the same time, he would neither tell people to go or not to go. Many others did not go either, but that is not to say they are all traitors. All the Sangat who attended had gone as people with genuine pain for the Panth and Bhai Ranjit Singh Khalsa says he is not against any such person who went. He said it is on record that he requires no leadership position now or in the future.

The video must be viewed from 19mins onwards in order to ascertain the detailed reasoning.

No request was put forward by him to advocate Bhai Panthpreet Singh or any other person to be made Jathedar. Sardar Simranjit Singh Mann can be asked whether there is any truth in this totally false rumour that has been spread without evidence.

He questions when has he ever said he is against Sri Dasam Granth? How can allegations be made on the basis of random audio clips? As a Parcharak, nothing has ever been raised to cause controversy in the Panth. Audio clips and rumours were formed and used by some as an opportunity to create doubts. It should have been the responsibility of Sikh organisations to question such people about their motives and the damage they are creating. For those who have said that Dhadrianwale is the product of Badal, if that was the case, he would not have been the first to make a major public statement against their Jathedars’ decision to pardon the Sauda Saadh.

Some are just watching the action but on the ground level the Sikh community in Punjab is being intimidated and suppressed by injustice. The endeavour has always been to fight against this. But he said recent experience has given him clear indications that no matter what advice is given, the people will not accept it and he will be labelled as a “traitor”.

What are we doing? One day we call someone a hero, next day we say they are zero. If they get arrested, then they’re a hero again, the next day when they are released then they are zero again. This is not the right mentality. In today’s day and age, mental torture by making false or unverified comments (knowingly or unknowingly) is like throwing physical stones. The threat from the external forces always remains but that is not the concern, the concern is when our own community throws the stones.

All further Diwaans have been postponed until further notice in India and abroad. Those who want to listen to false allegations in audio recordings (claiming “Chamkila” was better) can carry on listening, those who will do work on the ground will carry on doing it, but for now, Bhai Ranjit Singh Khalsa will not go visiting locations in India and around the world for Gurmat Parchar with the weight of all the nonsense that has been stirred. Who is a traitor and who is not, only time will tell. Never has he begged for stage time and neither will he ever do so. He has said he will come on the stage outside of Parmeshar Dwar once again at some time in the future when that Sewa will be required. For all these years endeavours have been made to create awareness through Parchar, but for now, whoever wishes to listen to the Parchar can listen to the weekly Sunday Diwaan at Gurdwara Parmeshar Dwar Sahib. The Amrit Sanchar Lehar will continue. In the meanwhile, Bhai Ranjit Singh Khalsa will begin forming a Jathebandhi type system in which work will be done on the ground level. There will be a minimum of 2,500 ‘Vidhyarthi’ Gursikhs. The normal village Sikh will be visited and endeavours will be made to make such people active in the Gursikh lifestyle.
