Sri Akal Takht Holds Massive Prayer for Peace in Syria


Amritsar: For the well being of humanity, Sri Akal Takht Sahib held a large prayer service for peace in Syria. Ardas was conducted with the head granthis of various Gurdwaras including Sri Darbar Sahib and Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh.

The Akal Takht Sahib head granthi conducted the aras, a Sikh prayer, sang mool mantar, and Chaupai Sahib and asked for well being of all of humanity and nature.

Giani Gurbachan Singh stated that Sikhs always ask for well being of humanity which is called ‘Sarbat da Bhalla’ which is an essential part of Sikh philosophy.

He further stated that Sikhs always use their resources to help those in need and time of difficulty. He told the media that the essential part of Sikhism is to do charity and help others.
