Singhs of the Midland Langar Seva Society reached France to feed the refugees of the Middle East.

Members of the Midland Langar Seva Society (MLSS) have arrived in Calais to offer food and provisions for refugees looking to reach the UK.

They are a charity organisation based in Walsall, that organise hunger-relief feeds all across the UK and even in India, basing their work on the Sikh teaching of seva (selfless service).

This weekend an MLSS team made the 18 hour road trip to Calais to help those in the Jungle refugee camp. They provided them with food parcels and drink, as well as making previsions for their next trip.

They plan to make regular trips across the channel to help more migrants camped there.
