A Sikh youth threw a glass and confronted and abused Congress leader Jagdish Tytler, who was attending a wedding in Delhi. Tytler was not injured in the attack.
Jagdish Tytler was at a wedding at a farmhouse in Mehrauli, Delhi, on Saturday. Tytler escaped unhurt in the glass throw as it missed him, however the Sikh youth was arrested and charges were put against him.
The man threw a piece of glass at Tytler following an argument with the latter and asked him how could he come at the wedding.
Senior advocate H.S. Phoolka on Sunday demanded an enquiry into the attack on Congress leader Jagdish Tytler at a function in South Delhi last night. He said that there should be enquiry on how the youth reached him despite having jet security. There should be a thorough enquiry on whether this incident was genuine or he did this to create sympathy.
