Malayasia Gurdwara Used as Shelter for Flood Victims

The GS Tg Tuallang, Perak area of Malaysia has witnessed a severe flood which has made people evacuate and seek shelter. The Gurdwara Sahib at GS Tg Tuallang, Perak was being used as a shelter until the waters receded despite part of the Gurdwara Sahib being flooded. The Gurdwara volunteers are actively providing langar to the impacted families.

The Gurdwara’s kitchen was the place about 75 people sought refuge as it’s higher than the surrounding ground. People from about 25 homes were at the Gurdwara Sahib. The Gurdwara heads are concerned that if the water reaches the kitchen they would have to be evacuated to an evacuation center.
