The Sikh community of Peshawar hosted Iftar dinner for Muslims throughout the month of Ramzan. The Sikhs not only hosts the Iftar dinner but also takes part in different welfare drives in the city.
Talking to the media, one Sikh person said that they feel good after arranging Iftar dinner for their Muslim brothers. “They fast from early morning till the evening and it makes us happy to arrange Iftar dinner for them,” he said.
While another person said,”We feel very happy in serving our Muslim brothers during the month of Ramzan.”
According to the locals, the Sikh community has been following this tradition since 2001 and arrange the Iftar regularly.
