The Sikh community in Nigeria practiced selfless service on the day of Vaisakhi when they fed poor people in Ilupeju area of Lagos State.

The Sikh community from around the world feeds the poor on a daily basis as all Gurdwaras are open to all persons regardless of caste, creed, religion, etc.

In India, people are divided between low and high caste, but the Sikh community kitchen tackles the social issue at it’s core.

The Sikhs in Lago fed over a 100 people and the Sikhs explained that it ensures equality is maintained among all without discrimination.
