Sikhi in Peshawar, Pakistan: 100% Sikhs Keep Kesh

Recent reports from Peshawar, Pakistan have revealed that all Sikhs in the city keep their Kesh which is evident from several closely studied videos. The local Sikhs are very strongly attached to Sikh teachings and find it their duty to teach their children about their faith.

The Gurdwaras in the city hold daily classes to teach the students about Sikhi and Gurbani. Guru Angad Dev Ji Khalsa Dharmik School in Mouhalla Jogan Shah Dabgari Garden Peshawar demonstrated that despite being separated from East Punjab, Sikhi can still thrive in some of the most secluded places for Sikhs.

The community has witnessed several hate crimes and still the Sikh community’s Sikhi Sidak is stronger than ever.

A short video of the Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s Gurpurab celebrations shows just how strong the Sikhi is in Peshawar, Pakistan. It’s quite amazing that the further Sikhs go away from Punjab, India the stronger the Sikhi gets.
