Sikh Youth Group Aims to Help Drug Addicts in UK

(DSU News Bureau) Sikh Youth of Birmingham has created Sikhs Anonymous, a support group for those battling drug addictions problems. The group encourages people struggling to recover from addiction to come out to their meetings for support.

The group will be called Sikhs Anonymous to keep the the identity of the persons private. The group will hold seminars for family members to encourage them to battle stress related to drug addiction.


The initiative of the Sikh group is a first of kind for Punjabis battling drug abuse in the UK. The meetings will be help weekly and all are encouraged to attend.
