Sikh Teenager Clears Aviation Exam With Flying Colors


Manvir Kaur, aged 19, cleared compass/aptitude assessment and face-to-face interview at the the Oxford Airport-based Academy. Manvir is a student of aviation at the Sandwell College who will officially start her aviation clear after passing the exam with flying colors.

Manvir cleared both stages putting her name onto the Elite Pathways Programme. She was reported saying she was nervous but happy after the exam was successfully passed.

Manvir has written her name in the record books because only 3% of women become pilots.
