A Sikh scholar by the name of Harinder Singh has spoken out on social media about the construction of Sri Kartarpur Sahib in Pakistan. He stated he was disheartened to see the construction which mitigates the landscape of the area.
He wrote on social media:
I was pained when I went to Anandpur Sahib in 1999; it was literally whitewashed. 2019: I am in pain today as see in 4 directions from Darbar Sahib at Kartarpur Sahib; I do not see the terrain of the Panjab as recorded in Rāg Tukhārī Bārahmāh of #GuruNanakSahib.
Everyone in our group is disheartened. Many Qs, Whys, Speculations. We did sabad-kirtan (Wisdom-Glory), Anand Sahib (Bliss-Sovereign), Ardas (Supplication) & listened to Hukam (Command). #GuruGranthSahib spoke: “O’ mind! Listen to the unnaratable narrative of 1-Nām.” #NamCulture
