Sikh Jatha Meets PM Imran Khan, 1st Phase of 500 Million Fund to be Announced

A Sikh Jatha led by Bhai Sahib Bhai Mohinder Singh Ji met with PM Imran Khan at the Prime Minister house. The two sides discussed important development projects of Sikh shrines in Pakistan.

PM Imran Khan stated that the Niskham Charity Trust along with other Sikh organizations will unveil the first phase of the 500 million dollar fun.

Pm Khan issued a statement:

A delegation led by Bhai Sahib Bhai (Dr) Mohinder Singh Ahluwalia OBE KSG, Chairman Nishkam Group of Charitable Organizations, called on Prime Minister Imran Khan today.

SAPM for Overseas Pakistanis Syed Zulfiqar Ali Bukhari was also present during the meeting.

Bhai Sahib Bhai Mohinder Singh thanked the Prime Minister for the landmark decision of the Government of Pakistan to open Kartarpur Corridor and facilitate Sikh community across the world in visiting their holy place.

He evinced keen interest in infrastructure development projects especially building rest houses in Nanakana Sahib and Kartarpur Corridor. He also assured to facilitate and help start the first phase of the £500 million fund the Sikh community announced earlier this year

The Prime Minister welcomed the interest of the visiting delegation.
