“I Am From the Sikh Faith and Taught to Stand Up Against Atrocities and Persecution”

Harinder Singh Bains, the man who called police after identifying the suspect in the New York and New Jersey attacks, recounts the shootout that ensued once police arrived.

He stated on CNN that he did what any American or person from another faith would’ve done. He said, “I’m from the Sikh faith and i’m taught to stand up against atrocities and persecution.”
