Shaheed Bhagat Singh’s Death Warrant From 1931


Bhagat Singh was sentenced to be hanged on March 24, 1931 but the British Govt in fear of the public hung him on March 23rd. Bhagat Singh is one of the most popular revolutionaries of India.

The death warrant of Bhagat Singh which was issued by superintendent of Central Jail of Lahore and singed by the President of the tribunal.

After the release, the image went viran on social networks.

Born into a Sikh family which had earlier been involved in revolutionary activities against the British Raj.

In a letter he left behind, he stated:

“My life has been dedicated to the noblest cause, that of the freedom of the country. Therefore, there is no rest or worldly desire that can lure me now”
