An international education division has been established under the SGPC’s Directorate of Education for the purpose. It has signed an MoU with the University of Cambridge so that five Sikh scholars could study M.Phil and PhD at the university.
Newly appointed acting Vice-Chancellor of Guru Granth Sahib World University Dr Gurmohan Singh Walia, who took charge today, said the SGPC had also signed an MoU with Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning Toronto, Canada. Both Sheridan and SGPC have decided to have joint academic programmes in Advanced Diploma in Business Administration, Advanced Diploma in Electronics Engineering Technician and Bachelor in Applied Information Sciences.
He said that a four member delegation from Sheridan comprising Andrew F Ness, Director International, Howard Scott Slaney, International Admissions Co-coordinator, Rob Giberson, Associate Dean, Sheridan College Toronto, Canada along with Anuraj Bajwa was visiting the different SGPC institutions in this regard.
