Sauda Sadh Says “Jathedar’s People Offered Pardon Letter”

Sauda Sadh Gurmit Rahim in an interview with ABP News a few months ago said, “negotiators didn’t find it necessary for me to visit the Akal Takht.” When asked why he didn’t make an effort to visit Sri Akal Takht Sahib, he stated “They didn’t ask me to visit and the thought never crossed my mind, but they were ok with me submitting letters.”

Apparently, under mysterious circumstances the five Singh Sahibans at the Akal Takht were either forced or pressured to give a pardon to the Dera head perhaps due to the upcoming 2017 elections.

Sikh groups worldwide have not accepted the decision by the Akal Takht and lodging protests. A Panthic mass gathering is set to take place on September 27, 2015 at the Akal Takht to protest against the pardon.
