Bollywood actor Salman Khan was asked a question on the farmers protests in Delhi to which he responded by saying, “the right thing should be done.” Salman Khan appeared a bit afraid to speak his thoughts on fears of a backlash and resorted to just a quick sentence on the question.
Has Bollywood actor @BeingSalmanKhan finally come out and shown his support towards to #FarmersProtest ?

Will others in the industry follow his lead and also show their support? #IndianFarmersHumanRights #IStandWithFarmers #FarmersProtest #farmers #protest pic.twitter.com/5kJhG7Dx8c
Many on Twitter responded to Salman Khan by saying:
I have the same opinion..otherwise he could end up in jail. Better he will stay away from this but sure he is with # supportfarmers

A deliberately cryptic response that could be taken to mean different things, prevents a strong backlash from either side and allows him to continue sitting on the fence. #FarmersProtest #shameonBollywoodcelebrities

Diplomatic answer he gave. Cannot tell who is he supporting from what he said. As we say it in punjabi, Gol Mol gal kar gya.

Many are saying Salman Khan gave a diplomatic answer and it’s difficult to interpret what he wants to say.
He didn’t state what the correct thing is, seems to be sitting on the fence! I hope he’s not another chamcha or Modi
