The bus conductor who told the driver to speed up and go with a bus full of 79 passengers spoke out. The conductor said he was the one who told the driver not to stop by blowing his whistle twice. He is upset the driver got all the credits and awards and stated he was equally an hero like the bus driver.

He said he deserves to be awarded and is seeking compensation from the Punjab Government in his role during the Gurdaspur terror attack escape. The media has largely ignored the timely act of the conductor and focused their attentions on the bus driver.
