Punjab’s Sikligar Sikhs: “Can’t afford Gurdwara Fees for Kid’s Anand Karaj, SGPC Eats Our Allotted Funds.”

Sikligar Sikhs of Ludhiana, Punjab are speaking out against the SGPC and Sikh Institutions on alleged discrimination. They state their people get allotted SGPC funds but those funds never get passed onto them.

They further stated that they have no Gurdwara and the land they live on isn’t owned by them and so they can be asked to leave anytime. The Sikligar Sikhs of Punjab and India have suffered for over 100 years due to racial discrimination, they allege that no one hires them for the smallest of jobs.

The Sikligars state that the local Gurdwara charge them 5,000 rupees for Anand Karaj fees and they are delaying marriages because they can’t afford the fees.

Sikligar Sikhs became Sikhs during time of Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji who asked them to make weapons for the Sikh soldiers.
