Punjabi Naval Officer Jailed in China Seeks Help

Town Cheema (Jagraon), December 11, 2019: Parents of Jagbir Singh, a 31-year-old shipper naval force official, have engaged Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Minister of External Affairs S Jaishankar to get their son discharged from jail in China, where he is being held since July 16 this year.

As per Jagbir’s folks, he joined vendor naval force in 2009 and headed out to numerous nations. Be that as it may, he arrived in a difficult situation when he joined an organization named Marvin this year. On his first task his ship was halted and boarded by Chinese authorities, who captured Jagbir and throughout the previous five months he is in their care.

Jagbir’s dad said he joined Marvin for better advancement prospects as this would have guaranteed a safe future.

He was sent to China and was informed that all the information relating to the vessel would be given to him at the following port. Yet, before the ship could reach there, it was captured by Chinese authorities who assumed control over the ship as it needed appropriate documentation and captured Jagbir and five group individuals.

Nonetheless, the five group individuals were discharged later. Jagbir’s family attempted to contact his bosses yet they have would not hear them out.
