The mom Narinder Kaur creatively started making various Punjabi dishes at the video rental store which evolved to a full scale restaurant.

The restraunt opened as an Indo-Pak in 1995 and changed to Phulkari Punjabi in 2012 due to a growing Punjabi population in the area which led to a new Gurdwara.
