Harinder Singh Rattan was found unconscious at a street in Southhall, UK after he left his house to buy some pudding for his family. He was stabbed several times to death just feet away from his home.
His family described him as very loving and peaceful person who often volunteered at his local Gurdwara.
Harinder was a delivery driver and did immense volunteer work at the Southhall Gurdwara Sahib.
3 men were charged with murder who apparently live on the same street.
Today, his sister-in-law Sharon Rattan said he was a “loving, hard-working Sikh” who dedicated himself to his wife and two daughters, aged 14 and seven, and son, aged nine.
Harinder had done many noble things in his life, he helped raise thousands of pounds for a hospital in his village in Punjab.
The family became concerned after he didn’t return the second time he left his house that night and it was only when police informed them that he had been fatally stabbed.
He was brought to the hospital by the paramedics but pronounced dead at 1:30 am.
The family is in shock and can’t believe the incident occurred as they say he was a very peaceful person and friendly person.
