Sukhpal Khaira held a press conference over the acquittal of UP cops involved in an extra judicial killing of a Sikh man.
The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and the Punjab Ekta Party (PEP) Friday pummeled the Congress-drove state government for “prescribing” exoneration to four previous cops, serving life detainment in a 1993 phony experience case.
The four police officers were condemned to life detainment by a unique CBI court in Patiala in 2014 for executing Ludhiana occupant Harjit Singh in a phony experience in 1993.
The then Uttar Pradesh Superintendent of Police, Ravinder Kumar; UP Inspector Brij Lal Verma; UP Constable Onkar Singh; and Punjab Police Inspector Harinder Singh were granted life detainment.
A duplicate of the requests was given by PEP boss Sukhpal Singh Khaira to the media here on Friday.
Looking for inversion of the exoneration allowed to them, Khaira said his gathering would move the Punjab and Haryana High Court against it.
Dismal boss Sukhbir Singh Badal said a gathering assignment would approach Union Home Minister Amit Shah for the inversion of the choice.
