Metropolitan Police are renewing appeals for witnesses and information five years on after the murder of Sukhwinder Singh. All their lines of enquiry have been investigated and without new evidence or witnesses coming forward, they will not be able to progress this case.
The investigation established that on FRIDAY 8th JANUARY 2010 Sukhwinder had chased two suspects, who had robbed a 28-year-old local woman in Loxford Road at about 18:40hrs, for some 50 to 70 yards along Victoria Road into Uphall Road, where it is believed he was stabbed.
One robbery suspect was described as black, 5ft 10in-6ft tall, skinny with a young face and wearing a black hooded top and light grey jogging bottoms.
The second was thought to be a lighter-skinned black man, 6ft tall, of stocky build with possible facial markings or facial hair. He was wearing a light blue hooded top with markings on the sleeves.
THIS IS APPEAL TO ANYBODY WITH ANY INFORMATION – PLEASE COME FORWARD AND HELP. HE DIED TRYING TO PROTECT SOMEBODY AND ITS OUR DUTY TO FIND HIS KILLERS.
