PM Trudeau Wants a” Simple” and “Spiritual” Visit to Sri Darbar Sahib

The Canadian PM Justin Trudeau is all set to visit Sri Darbar Sahib on February 21st and has requested a spiritual visit to the holiest Sikh shrine.

PM Trudeau doesn’t want anyone other than his family to accompany him in and around Sri Darbar Sahib because he says he wants to keep it simple so that he can enjoy the spiritual atmosphere of the shrine.

The SGPC officials have confirmed the statement and told the media that the Candian officials have relayed to them that the PM wants to take in the holiness and sanctity of the place.

“We’ve been told by the Canadian authorities that Justin Trudeau doesn’t want to be accompanied by anyone except his family members — wife and three children — once he enters the shrine complex. Actually, he wants everything going on as normal. He wants to feel the spirituality that he has heard about,” said the SGPC official, adding, “We will make proper security arrangements inside the shrine, and we seek cooperation of the devotees too.”
