The population of Sikhs and Hindus in Afghanistan has been dropping, raising fears this religious minority will soon disappear completely from the country.
The Sikhs and Hindus are now working together and helping each other after they nearly 200,000 strong community is down to only about 7,000.
Majority of the population has fled the country due to religious persecution. One of the many problems Afghan Sikhs face is inability to perform final rites services. Many have moved onto to the United States and Europe as refugees and sough asylum. However despite leaving Afghanistan they are still very much concerned about the affairs in their home country.
