A Gurdwara Sahib in Crawley was ransacked and damaged after robbers broke in stole money from a safe and took golden artifacts. The robbery is being investigated by the police. The incident occurred at the Gurdwara Sahib in Spencers Road, West Green at around 7:15pm on Friday, September 25 and 3.30am on Saturday, September 26.

A local newspaper of Crawley reported:

An external door and several internal doors were forced and a safe and cabinets broken into.

More than £2,500 was stolen along with gold ornaments and other items.

Anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious during that time is asked to email police on 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or phone 101, quoting serial 212 of September 26.
