This man was being sought by police today on suspicion of stealing cash from a disabled man’s coat at a Sikh Gurdwara in Wolverhampton.
The police have stated the crime was against a 64 year old at Gurdwara Baba Wadbhag Singh in Bilston in the Wolverhampton area in UK.
The suspect was wearing a blue hooded top and black gloves.
Dc Rob Berry said: “The suspect is seen on CCTV entering the temple and is then captured again on his way out wearing the coat.
“Inside the coat was £200 and the victim’s bank card, which was later used to withdraw £400 from a nearby cash machine.
“Stealing from a vulnerable person is a despicable crime in itself but to do so at a place of worship is doubly appalling.
“We are determined to find whoever is responsible for this crime and I would urge anyone who can help us with our inquiries to call us.”
It happened on October 6 at the Mount Pleasant site.
Anyone who knows the identity of the man in the image is urged to call police on 101, or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
