Sikhs in the village of Mimora of Lucknow are angry after excavation work was started in front of the Gurdwara Sahib to block off the entrance to the Gurdwara Sahib.

About 200 local Sikhs gathered outside the Gurdwara Sahib to prevent the work of a all being built in front of the Gurdwara Sahib which was built 70 years ago.

Manjinder Sirsa expressed his unhappiness over the incident and wrote on Twitter:
“Sikhs are deeply hurt with Lucknow Admn creating a wall at the front of 62 year old Gurdwara SahibWe urge @myogiadityanath Ji to consider sentiments of Sikh Sangat & preserve this Gurdwara Sahib constructed in 1958We urge@AdminLKO toImmediately order stoppage of this work & take action against insensitive officers”
