Sikh organizations have been circulating the message through social media along with pictures of Bhola.

Kaur’s brother Ravinderjit Singh Gogi confirmed the news as he said, “we got this news and we all are very shocked to listen. My brother-in-law was coming back from his work and after he parked his car in the parking of his apartments, some unidentified persons attacked him with a knife and he died on the spot.” He said that the family was in a state of shock after this incident. Bhola was having his own business in Chicago.

Khalsa’s continues his hunger strike with the demand of premature release of Sikhs and Gogi maintained that come what may, his father will continue his hunger strike and will not bow to any pressure. Gogi stated that Punjab Government had tried that his father must give up his strike but they have failed.
