Leopard enters in Retired Army officer’s house creating panic in the neighborhood of Chandigarh.
A leopard was spotted at a house in Amravati Enclave, Pinjore, at around 9am on Saturday and it took almost six hours for the wildlife department to finally relieve people of panic.
Kuldeep, who works as a helper in Lt Gen BS Jaswal’s (retd) house, was the first one to spot the leopard. It was sleeping in the balcony at the back of the house near a washing machine.
Jaswal, who retired as army commander of Northern Command, said after it was spotted, they then informed Resident Welfare Association president who further informed the wildlife department and the police.The family immediately came out of the house. Jaswal said he checked the balcony in the night around 10pm and by that time, the leopard was not there.
