Jammu Sikh Youth Force Navjot Sidhu Out, Black Flags Raised (Video)

Sikh youth organized a rally against former Amritsar MP Navjot Sidhu while he was in Gandhinagar campaigning for elections in Jammu on December 20, 2014.

The youth while carrying black flags raised slogans against Sidhu due to him distorting Gurbani in a video which went viral a few weeks ago. The youth raised slogans for him to leave Jammu.

The rally got heated and Sidhu was forced to leave. While in his car, a rear window pane was shattered. Police immediately arrived at the scene and took Sidhu away securely from the site.

The original rally only was ment for 500 people but adding protesters over 2500 arrived at the scene.

A representative of the Sikh youth said that Sikhs were deeply hurt due to Sidhu’s Gurbani distortion and didn’t want him in Jammu. When the Sikh Youth raised slogans against Sidhu, the BJP high command ended the rally and took Sidhu away before further escalation.

No case has been registered against anyone and things are calm now.
