While most cricket stars of India such as Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh tweeted about the “propaganda against India and Indian policies.” Irfan Pathan and Manoj Tiwari were the two lone cricket stars to tweet hidden messages in their tweets.
Although the two players didn’t directly say they supported the farmers protests but their tweets can be read in a cryptic form and interpreted to be in support of the farmers.
Irfan Pathan in a cryptic tweet wrote: “When George Floyd was brutally murdered in the USA by a policeman, our country rightly expressed our grief. #justsaying,” wrote the 36-year-old Pathan.
