A plane carrying 107 people crashed into a residential neighborhood in Karachi Pakistan. The plane an Airbus A320 carried 107 people from Lahore. The plane crash was reported close to the Karachi airport. The plane was identified as a military plane operated by the Pakistan International Airlines.

A spokesperson for the aviation authority stated the following:
“The plane crashed in Karachi. We are trying to confirm the number of passengers but initially it is 99 passengers and eight crew members,” said Abdul Sattar Khokhar, the spokesman for the aviation authority.
