GNDU Prof Booked for Sexually Molesting Two Female Students


A GNDU Professor sexually molested two girl students this past Decemeber and only recently a complaint was filed.

The accused person was identified as Sajid Hussain who teaches microbiology at GNDU. The man was charged under section 354 (assault or criminal force on a woman with intent to outrage her modesty) of the IPC.

Reportedly, the security guard of GNDU named Sukhdev Singh filed the complaint and accused the professor of molesting and having physical relations with girls age 22 who are students of MSc first semester (microbiology) and were staying on campus.

The professor molested the two girls during practical exams when in invited them into his office and asked them to keep their mouth shut and he would give them good grades.

The girls approached the security guard to file a complaint. The SHO Sukhjinder Singh of Cantonment police station stated,

GNDU registrar Sharanjit Singh Dhillon said after the girls’ complaint, the university syndicate suspended the professor on December 31 last year.
