Families Mourn Death of Three Killed in High Speed Crash in Canada

SARNIA – The group of the three people killed early Friday morning after a brutal single-vehicle crash on a forlorn provincial street south of Petrolia. The cause of the crash is being investigated.

Any witnesses of the crash are encouraged to call the Lambton OPP at 1-888-310-1122.

Since none of the perished are from the Lambton County region, advising the closest relative will be “difficult,” OPP West Region representative stated. The police are seeking help of the public in contacting the family members of the boys killed in the crash. They have stated that since the three men are not from the area it would be “complicated” to locate the family members to claim the bodies.

The deadly crash occurred at about 1:30 a.m. between Gum Bed Line and Aberfeldy Line on a stretch of street that pointedly bends east before proceeding due south toward Chatham-Kent.

The battered vehicle stopped in a lush field close to Oil Heritage Road. Two profound trenches could be seen about parallel to the roadway.

Three individuals in their 20s died in the accident. The driver of the vehicle was taken to clinic “as a precautionary measure.”

The Lambton OPP later opened the stretch of Oil Heritage Road in the early evening after towing the crashed vehicle.

Names had not been discharged as of Friday evening in light of the fact that closest relative had not been informed.
