The 2nd annual Delhi Fateh was celebrated in Lal Qila New Delhi, India by the DSGMC. DSGMC head Manjit Singh GK said, a march will take place tomorrow where Nihang Groups, retired army personnel, and gatka groups will entertain and participate in the activities.
The march is being called a “Generali March” to educate the public about Sikh forces conquering Delhi in 1783.
Manjit Singh GK thanked many Sikh businessmen and Sikh groups who donated to make the event possible. He expressed the need and importance of celebrating the event at Lal Qila every year.
“This is second time that the Delhi Fateh Divas is being organised by DSGMC, in which around one lakh people of various religions will take part and efforts are being made to make it an annual event,” Manjit Singh said.
“Five head priests will lead the Jarnaili march victory processions from ancient Hanuman Mandir to Red Fort on March 22,” Manjit Singh said, adding that Sikh organisations from across the globe will be represented in the event.
Kirtan darbar will be organised on first day of Fateh Diwas and on the second day Gataka, martial arts of the Sikhs will be performed.
