Comic Shows Fight Inside Sri Harmandir Sahib Ji

A new comic by a popular Video Game Maker Ubisoft’s “Assassins Creed” series shows Sri Harmandir Sahib in the Background with a fight going on inside. The setting seems to be during British India time with the type of characters shown. So clearly the makers don’t have any knowledge of the importance of Sri Harmandir Sahib Ji and what actually takes place inside. It seems as if the maker of the comic believes it to be a private residence as the word palace is used and there is a person sitting on a chair inside.

This needs to be condemned as Sri Harmandir Sahib Ji is a place of worship of almighty Akal Purakh. It is the Holiest Shrine of the Sikh religion and has extreme importance to the faith as it was built by Sikh Gurus. Sri Harmandir Sahib Ji is also Mentioned in the Eternal Guru of Sikhs, Guru Granth Sahib Ji(Holy Sikh Scriptures).

Please kindly write to the maker to immediately remove this scene in their comic: Write to them on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/UbisoftSupport

To Sir/Madam,

Please remove the scene in your comic “Assassin’s Creed:Brahman” showing Sri Harmandir Sahib Ji, popularly knows the Golden Temple, it is the holiest place for Sikhs, where praises of God are sung 24 hours a day, and the Sikh Religion is the 5th Largest in the world. The comic showing a fight going on inside hurts Sikh Sentiments. It is a place of worship of god and such things should not be depicted inside a religious place.

We Request you to kindly remove the objectionable illustrations from the comic and apologize to the Sikh Community, otherwise we will be force to take action.
