A court heard a case of murder involving a husband and wife in the town of Brampton, Canada. The details revealed that accused Jatinder Dhaliwal held a gun to his wife’s head and pulled the trigger. The children were documented yelling and telling their father not to hurt their mother while he fired on her. The confrontation occurred after his wife hid heroin which he wanted.
The father then told his 8 and 9 year old that he would kill them if they told the police. The father pleaded guilty in the 2012 case of the death of his wife Lakhvir Dhaliwal at their home on May 28, 2012.
The sentencing hearing is scheduled for December 15, 2015.
The mother was shot 7 times in various areas of her body and the fatal shot to the head took her life. The 9-year old called the police after the father took some cash and ran off. The son was told by the 911 operator to do CPR but it was too late as the mother had already died.
Jatinder tried to get away in his car but shortly after fleeing he crashed his car.
According to police, they found the gun in the hands of Lakhvir which was allegedly placed by Jatinder before running away from the scene of crime.
